PNEUMA (a very short poem)

Spoken words are pneumatic.

It has pressure, it pushes, it shifts.

Like pressure waves, they move forward.

Those uttered words exert pressure; it impacts.

They work for you – all day long; and they move into your future.

—————0————–

Words spoken are like a pneumatic jackhammer; they can break up concrete.

Words can heal you.

Even placebo coated words will impact you.

Words – mixed with faith – are the most powerful forces in the universe.

Next time you speak a word, remember the pneumatic force of your words.

I will now refer to a program from the BBC in May 2022 – Trust me, I am a doctor.

The power of placebos and the effect it has on people are explored. In short, it has a massive impact on people’s recovery and healing. The medication – a placebo in this instance – provides improvement and healing to those in the experiment. In the experiment, there are two groups. One group receives the ‘actual medicine’, and the other gets a placebo. They don’t know if it is a placebo, or is it real. However, to my surprise nobody receives real medicine in the experiment – they all receive placebos. The medication given is powerless and harmless. Completely neutral – as if you are taking tablets made of white odourless powder. All the people in the experiment are told that the medicine is powerful and they can expect an impact. Surprisingly, after taking the medication, people reported feeling better. The ‘medication’ had an effect. Very interesting! More about the experiment.

“In the experiment, about 45 per cent of everyone here – remember the whole group was given a placebo medication – reported a positive impact of the tablets they have taken over a period of weeks,” said Dr Mosely after the experiment.

Two groups of people were sitting in front of him. In the first group, 55 per cent reported no benefits from using the placebo. However, people reported significant ‘healings’ in the second group (45%) after using the placebo. They were adamant – the medication worked for them.

He revealed the truth to them. He then asked the 45-per-cent group to continue with the placebo medication for another week and then return and report on the effects.

After one week, they returned. About 70 per cent of that specific group (45% group) reported that they continued with the placebo medication and felt so much better. Some reported amazing healing and recoveries.

I watched this documentary on New Zealand Television – Trust Me I am A Doctor (BBC) – on Friday night, May 6, 2022.

Dr Moseley then mentioned the ethical implications of Doctors giving people placebos to cure them. It has excellent benefits. For example, no harmful chemicals are consumed by the patients. He further stated,

“Do not underestimate the power of belief and faith.”

Dr Moseley

As a believer, it immediately resonated with me. I would like to comment from a Christian perspective. Is it possible that people praying for healing are provided with a ‘placebo effect?’ Just like their bodies – in the experiment mentioned – responded to the placebo given to them in the experiments. Words of faith act as a placebo. The body responds and the body starts to heal itself.

In the experiment, for results, acting on words and being filled with conviction is essential for success. Is it possible that the human psyche receives this ‘instruction’ in good faith and acts on it? Is the body responding and healing itself? The ‘suggestion’ drops down into the heart of a person and it becomes faith. In other words, faith in the medication puts the body to work to heal itself.

The human body is one of the most intricately and wonderfully designed machines we know. In short, the human body is a work of wonder and mystery. Specifically, the spiritual side of humans. It seems like words are just as wonderful and mysterious as the human body itself! We see things shift when words are mixed with faith.

Next time you pray for yourself, or someone else’s healing, remember those words of faith can heal a body. A stunning revelation! Words of Faith can be like a ‘placebo.’ I do believe in the intervention of Jehovah to do miracles. However, in this article, my focus is on the power of words – the placebo effect – and how faith impacts us.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16: verses 17 and 18.

Next time you watch a program on television – where people pray for others and lay hands on them – think about the placebo effect. If those people believe in the ‘medication’, many of them will be healed and recover. You won’t see a thing. But, believe me, the Power of the Almighty Jehovah is busy working on the inside. Those words of faith activate the organs, the blood, the immune system, the brain – and so much more – to start the healing process. A mighty revelation!

Now, consider the following verse,

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
    because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19     to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” Luke 4: Verse 18 to 19. NIV.

Is it possible that these words of Jesus can have a ‘placebo’ effect? In other words, if you are poor, if you have psychological problems, mental health problems, don’t have a vision for the future, if you are oppressed, and if you need a breakthrough in your life, could the WORDS in the Holy Writ work for you? I am convinced those WORDS have the POWER to bring about change and can heal you. I do not include the miraculous power of God to intervene in this article. That is a different discussion for another day. Dunamis power!

66 After this, many of his [Jesus’] disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. 67 So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, 69, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.” John 6: Verse 66 to 69.

The power of ultrasound treating essential tremors (shaky hands).

Don’t miss the outstanding video on essential tremours healed. You will see the before and after video snippets – remarkable!

Could this hint at the power of ‘pneumatic sounds’?

What is an essential tremor?

Essential tremor is a problem in the motor circuit of the brain that prevents an individual from being able to perform smooth, accurate movements. Instead, patients experience a superimposed shaking of the limb. For example, a shaking hand. Some people suffer from an essential tremor for years.

Ultrasound treatment – scan of the brain (still image taken from the video). The client wears a helmet, with many ultrasonic emitters; the ultrasound focuses on a specific area in the brain. The emitters produce heat and ablate the targeted area. (destroy), resulting in the immediate cure of the condition. The physician, in the video, comments that they see how the tremor stops while they are administering the ultrasound treatment! Remarkable! The power of sound.
The application of ultrasound – the successful treatment of essential tremor.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. Proverbs 18 verse 21.
